Functional Title: Senior Equity Trading Salesperson Location: San Francisco Bay Area or Chicago, IL Experience: 8+ years of experience within the equity sales area or comparable financial services sales. Salary: Base salary of $150,000 - $175,000 (based on experience) / Competitive Bonus Plan Position Summary: Our Institutional Sales team is seeking a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, works well both independently and as part of a team, and excels at building strong client relationships. Reporting to the Head of Global Equity Trading, this individual will partner closely with our equity trading team to grow our client base and deepen existing relationships. The role focuses on sales coverage for global equity program trading and algorithmic trading. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prospect investment managers and public pension funds through calls, email, and in-person meetings. Drive revenue growth and retention by expanding use of our equity services and cross-selling across the firm. Manage day-to-day relationships for assigned accounts and ensure a high level of client satisfaction. Identify client needs and resolve trading or service issues promptly. Represent the firm at industry events and support RFPs, RFIs, and data requests. Contribute to sales and marketing initiatives and maintain deep knowledge of trade execution services and strategies. Work independently while managing multiple priorities. Requirements: 8+ years of experience in equity sales or related financial services sales. Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal partners. Strong communicator with solid presentation, writing, and interpersonal skills. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines. Self-starter who works well independently and thrives in a dynamic, team-oriented environment. Professional, positive, and motivated, with a strong commitment to results. Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM systems. Willingness to travel domestically up to 25 percent.
