What You'll Do

• Evaluate patient function using formal and informal tests to assess skeletal, neurological, respiratory, and cardiovascular status
• Develop goal-specific treatment plans based on assessment data and patient tolerance
• Submit and update treatment regimes in the plan of care, coordinating with physicians and other care team members
• Devise treatment schedules tailored to patient needs, coordinating with families and clinical staff
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about their condition, treatment options, prognosis, and intervention rationale
• Perform activities in accordance with physical therapy standards and physician orders

What You Need

• Valid physical therapy assistant licensure
• Prior outpatient or similar experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
