Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of food items with attention to quality, safety, and presentation
• Operate POS systems for accurate order processing and transactions
• Manage customer orders efficiently while upselling menu items to enhance sales and customer satisfaction
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards
• Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and manage retail sales transactions accurately
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including grills, ovens, and food prep tools
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing inquiries promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in food preparation, quick service restaurants, or café environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Familiarity with POS systems and order taking
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction processing
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Retail sales experience or cashiering skills are advantageous but not mandatory
• Able to read and write in English
