As an extern with us, you’ll find a supportive and successful start to your veterinary career. What You'll Do Focus on patient care, supported by veterinary assistants and a remote nurse team, allowing you to concentrate on the patients in front of you. Work side by side with veterinarians, pushing the boundaries of veterinary medicine and providing top‑quality patient care to communities across your region. Develop your skills thoroughly through insights and techniques that expose you to a full scope of practice. Use innovative technologies, new medical equipment, and pilot clinic tools that have not yet broken into the mainstream. Attend internal educational events provided by our Medical Operations Team. You'll Get Competitive pay range $7.25‑$17.95 per hour (pay varies based on university policy and location). You Have Must be enrolled in an AVMA accredited veterinary technician or veterinary nursing program that requires externship hours and/or skills.
