Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Sign on Bonus $10,000.00 The primary purpose of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the Nursing Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. Benefits Offered (full-time): Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k following 6 months of service Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the nursing department, in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines that govern the long‑term care facility. Participate in developing, maintaining, and updating our written policies and procedures that govern the day‑to‑day functions of nursing department. Ensure that reference material maintained at the nurse’s station is current. Recommend to the Director written material that will assist the nursing department in meeting the day‑to‑day needs of residents. Qualifications: Must possess, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university. RN with current unencumbered state licensure. Must have, as a minimum, 2 years of experience as a supervisor in a hospital, nursing care facility, or other related health care facility. #J-18808-Ljbffr
