Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Schedule

12hr Days, Schedule Varies 6:30A-7P, with on-call requirements.

Assignment Details

Guaranteed Hours: 12
Contract Weeks: 13

Requirements

• Min 2 years of recent experience in Operating Room nursing.
• Required certifications: AHA BLS & ACLS.
• Holiday Expectations: Must work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the operating room.
• Assist with surgical procedures and collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team.
• Monitor patient vital signs and manage anesthesia under the supervision of an anesthesiologist.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control standards.
• Document patient care accurately in electronic medical records.
