\n \nNEXT Industries is hiring an Outside Sales Account Manager to own and grow our Western Michigan/Lansing territory .
\n \nAt NEXT Industries, we don't believe in simply selling products. We partner with manufacturers to understand their operation, identify opportunities, and deliver solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and profitability.
\n \nWe're looking for an experienced, high-energy sales professional who understands the manufacturing environment and can build strong relationships with customers while identifying and developing new business opportunities.
\n \nWhat You'll Do
\n- \n
- Own and grow an established territory throughout Western Michigan and the Lansing area. \n
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturing and industrial customers. \n
- Identify new customers and opportunities while expanding business within existing accounts. \n
- Consult with customers to understand their manufacturing, tooling, MRO, and operational needs. \n
- Provide technical product knowledge and solutions , with an emphasis on cutting tools, machining, MRO, and related industrial products. \n
- Conduct regular on-site customer visits to identify opportunities, troubleshoot challenges, and recommend solutions. \n
- Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth objectives. \n
- Prepare quotes, proposals, and recommendations in partnership with our internal teams. \n
- Collaborate with quoting, pricing, customer service, technical, and operations teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience. \n
- Maintain accurate CRM/customer records, sales activity, opportunity pipelines, and forecasts. \n
- Represent NEXT Industries at customer events, trade shows, vendor meetings, and training programs. \n
What We're Looking For
\n- \n
- 3+ years of successful B2B outside sales experience in industrial distribution, manufacturing, MRO, cutting tools, or a related industry. \n
- Strong knowledge of cutting tools, machining, MRO products, or manufacturing processes. \n
- A proven track record of growing accounts, developing new business, and managing a sales territory. \n
- Strong business-to-business relationship-building and consultative selling skills. \n
- Ability to understand a customer's operation and translate technical needs into practical solutions. \n
- Self-motivated, competitive, organized, and comfortable working independently. \n
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and follow-up skills. \n
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/sales management systems. \n
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. \n
