Sales Estimator | Onsite – West of St. Louis, MO A global manufacturer of custom-engineered industrial equipment is seeking a Sales Estimator / Application Engineer to join its growing team west of St. Louis, Missouri. This role serves as the technical support arm of the sales organization, combining elements of estimating, applications engineering, proposal development, and customer solution design. You’ll work closely with sales, engineering, and project teams to develop customized equipment solutions and support customers throughout the pre‑sale process. What You’ll Do Develop 2D conceptual layout drawings (CLDs) using AutoCAD to support customer proposals Prepare accurate cost estimates for custom-engineered equipment solutions Create professional quotations, proposals, and supporting sales documentation Serve as a technical resource to the sales team throughout the opportunity lifecycle Manage opportunities and sales activities using CRM tools Collaborate with engineering, sales, manufacturing, and project teams to develop customer-focused solutions Lead the handoff of awarded projects to project execution teams, ensuring clear scope definition and alignment Support the development of technically sound and commercially competitive equipment solutions This position is designed as a developmental role with a clear path into broader Application Engineering responsibilities. You’ll gain hands‑on experience across estimating, engineering, technical sales support, and project coordination while working alongside experienced industry professionals.
