CNC Machinist & Programmer

Location: Hood River, OR

Pay: $28–$47/hour (DOE)

Sign-On Bonus: $1,000–$4,000 (paid after 1 year of service)

Relocation Assistance: Up to $5,000 (based on distance)

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist & Programmer to join a high-performing manufacturing team. This role is ideal for someone with advanced machining experience who can independently plan, set up, and execute production processes while maintaining precision and quality standards.

• Develop and execute machining plans based on engineering drawings and specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and production work instructions
• Set up CNC machines, tools, fixtures, and equipment for production runs
• Monitor machining processes and make real-time adjustments to optimize performance
• Measure and inspect parts throughout production to ensure compliance with specifications
• Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality
• Troubleshoot issues proactively and implement effective solutions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

• Advanced experience with CNC machining and programming
• Experience working on large, complex fabrication projects
• Strong understanding of blueprints and GD&T
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset
• Commitment to workplace safety

Day Shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $47.00/hr.
