Service Technician

Position Overview As the Service Technician you will perform moderate level mechanical, electrical, and systems troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on equipment in accordance with manufacturer's manuals, diagrams, sketches etc. You will perform service activities to include configuration, evaluation, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of ultrasound equipment and accessories. As a Service Technician you will also work cross-functionally with engineering teams to provide support for failure analysis initiatives and maintain excellent working relationships with our customer service representatives. We are guided and united by our Group Purpose of “giving our world more smiles.” Visit: Job Description Essential Job Functions: Test, troubleshoot, and repair electronic/mechanical devices Performs break-fix preventative maintenance by observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problem, dismantling devices to gain access for the removal and repair or replacement of defective parts. Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment. Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions and guidelines. Situational awareness and identify unsafe behaviors and conditions.
