Our healthcare partner in Kearney, NE, is looking for a passionate and skilled RN to join their Labor & Delivery team. With 10 spacious, private LDRP rooms and a commitment to keeping mothers and newborns together, this facility offers a unique and fulfilling work environment.
As a Labor & Delivery RN, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to mothers and their newborns. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing comprehensive care to laboring mothers and their newborns in a 1:1 laboring ratio
- Utilizing your strong IV skills and C-section experience to support the team
- Floating to NICU for feeders and growers as needed
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including a lactation counselor and maternity educator
- Maintaining accurate documentation using the MediTech EMR system
Requirements for this role include:
- Current RN license
- ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications (FHM preferred)
- Need 1 year experience in setting
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work every 3rd weekend and one major and one minor holiday
