Accounting Manager

Century Group is partnering with a client who is in search of an experienced Accounting Manager to join a team in Parker, CO. Qualified candidates with 5+ years of accounting experience and 2+ years of management experience are encouraged to apply. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $95,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close management including accruals and financial statement analysis
• Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations
• Establish and analyze internal financial statements ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
• Monitor the monthly financial close process, including ensuring all costs incurred are properly recorded
• Manage a team of three and give them direction in the accounting space
• Support Staff Accountant with A/R and A/P entries, schedules, and payments as needed
• Participate in the ongoing development and establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies

Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Accounting and/or Finance
• Experienced managing a team for 2+ years
• Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including strong Excel and ERP system skills
• Experience with Sage 100

Experience :

• Manufacturing industry experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Able to work independently and take initiative
