About the Role:

As a Cook with Nexus of Wood River, you will play a vital role in preparing and serving nutritious meals to our patients, staff, and visitors. Your exceptional culinary skills and attention to detail will ensure the highest quality of food and presentation. You will work closely with our dietary team to plan, prepare, and deliver meals that meet the dietary needs of our patients and visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner, using a variety of cooking techniques and methods
• Plan and execute meal production, including menu planning, food preparation, and plating
• Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
• Demonstrate a commitment to quality, customer service, and teamwork

Requirements:

• 0 years of experience in a related field (0-2 years of experience preferred)
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
