Administrative Assistant

Texas State University is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant. Position is temp to hire for the right person.
Pay rate: $19.00/hr Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm Job Description:Responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the department of Engineering Technology Duties:
- Assist with everyday administrative support
- Handle all registration issues, particularly overrides
- Process all student travel
- Scholarships - Offers, Compliance, Awards
- Process all Faculty Course Evaluations -paper for in-person and electronic for online
- Maintain Google Calendar and Live 25 - entering classes and conference/meeting schedules
- Maintain inventory of all office supplies
- Maintain the graduate database and enrollment reports
- Submit facility work worders via AiM
- Assist with scheduling, coordinate and gather data for events/meetings, special events, luncheons, as needed.
- Website user
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 3-4 years minimum experience in office environment
- Customer Service experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 to include Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Experience in planning events
- Professional office ettiquette
- Communication and time management skills
