The Accounts Receivable role is a full-time, non-exempt position at our Portland, OR office, in our Accounting Department. The hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm with an hour for lunch. Overtime may be necessary, especially around deadlines and the end of the year.

The candidate will answer the phone promptly, with a smile and a warm, friendly voice, to let them know you are there to help solve their problem; keeping your cool when the homeowner is agitated

Inquisitive nature, willingness to learn, and ability to make mistakes and learn from them

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with knowledge of basic accounting principles

Three or more years' related experience

Ability to work both in a team environment and independently

A high school diploma is required, some post-secondary education preferred

Experience with electronic filing in a document management system preferred

Basic office skills, working knowledge of MS Outlook/Word/Excel, MS Access experience preferred

Quick and accurate typing around 60 WPM and a 10-key typing speed around 10,000 KPH

Experience maintaining accounting records for multiple clients/entities preferred

Willingness and ability to quickly maneuver through tasks while keeping it all straight in a fast-paced environment

Printing and reviewing crucial reports for accuracy, strong analytical skills with attention for details.
