Step into a dynamic middle school environment for a rewarding contract opportunity supporting 7th grade math students. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week, beginning as soon as possible and continuing through June 10, 2027. As a vital member of the educational team, you’ll deliver math instruction onsite in a supportive setting, focusing on student growth and achievement.

Key Qualifications & Experience:

• Active PA teaching certification or eligibility for an emergency teaching permit (bachelor’s degree required)
• Prior experience in a school environment, ideally in an urban setting
• Thorough understanding of math subject matter and instructional strategies aligned to state standards
• Ability to craft and implement engaging lesson plans with differentiated instruction and formative assessment
• Strong classroom management and behavioral intervention skills
• Comfortable navigating district policies and location expectations
• Reliable transportation required to maintain punctuality
• Must complete all Pennsylvania clearances before start date
• Available to work onsite from 8:00AM to 3:15PM, with no schedule accommodations

Role Responsibilities:

• Design and deliver high-quality, standards-based math lessons for a 7th grade caseload
• Use assessment data to inform instruction and address student learning needs
• Create a positive, well-managed classroom that’s conducive to effective learning
• Collaborate with team members and school leadership for optimal student support
• Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with school policies
