Cleans and disinfects all bathrooms and fixtures according to departmental guidelines. Cleans and disinfects all patient rooms on a daily basis per departmental guidelines. Performs all cleaning functions as scheduled (high and low dusting, disinfecting of all surfaces, window cleaning, dry and wet mopping). Maintains all floor surfaces (dry and wet mopping, vacuuming, carpet shampooing or extraction, stripping, scrubbing, refinishing, burnishing). Completes all housekeeping projects as assigned (stairwells, elevators, doors). Attends monthly department meetings. Performs other duties consistent with the purpose of the job as directed. Preferred Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. 2 years of housekeeping experience preferred in education, healthcare, and/or business and industry.
