Turbomachinery Project Engineering Lead - Aerospace

As a Lead Advanced P.E. at Honeywell, you will shape and drive the turbomachinery engineering strategy across our organization. Your leadership will be pivotal in developing and implementing best practices for turbomachinery design and analysis, and you will provide expert technical guidance to cross‑functional teams. You will lead advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability, and identify and mitigate potential design risks throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define and establish project goals and metrics, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. You will report directly to the Engineering Manager and will be responsible for building a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture. Responsibilities Lead and manage a team of engineers to develop and implement turbomachinery design and analysis strategies Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define and establish design goals and metrics Provide expert technical guidance on turbomachinery design and analysis principles Conduct advanced engineering analysis, testing, and modeling to optimize product performance and reliability Identify and mitigate potential design risks throughout the product lifecycle Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to bring innovation to turbomachinery engineering initiatives Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as mechanical engineering or aerospace engineering Experience in turbomachinery design and analysis Strong knowledge of turbomachinery design principles, tools, and techniques Experience with advanced engineering analysis methods such as CFD analysis and finite element analysis
