Sr. Buyer, Transportation - LTL, Bulk & Small Parcel

Job DescriptionTransportation Category Ownership and Optimization· Manage category strategies across key North American transportation categories, including LTL, BulkTanker, and Small Parcel· Partner with Logistics and business stakeholders to align transportation solutions with cost, service, andoperational requirements· Drive sourcing execution, supplier management, contract management, and performance trackingacross assigned categories· Track category results and value delivery across assigned transportation categories· Analyze market trends, supplier dynamics, business requirements, and cost drivers to inform categorypriorities· Identify and prioritize value-generating opportunities based on business impact, implementationcomplexity, and supply risk· Manage a pipeline of category and sourcing initiatives aligned with procurement objectives and businessprioritiesStrategic Sourcing and Contract Management· Lead sourcing projects and RFx processes across assigned transportation categories· Own supplier selection, negotiation, and award decisions in alignment with procurement and strategicsourcing standards· Execute and manage contracts in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and businessneeds· Apply total cost of ownership principles to sourcing decisions, balancing cost, service, and operationalrequirements· Ensure strategic sourcing processes are applied consistently across projects· Support continuous improvement and process discipline across sourcing and contract managementactivitiesOur Total Rewards philosophy is to provide a meaningful and flexible spectrum of programs that equitably support our diverse workforce and their families and complement Kraft Heinz’ strategy and values.New Hire Base Salary Range:$89,800.00 - $112,200.00Bonus: This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus as provided by the plan terms and governing documents.The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factorsBenefits: Coverage for employees (and their eligible dependents) through affordable access to healthcare, protection, and saving for the future, we offer plans tailored to meet you and your family’s needs.
