Step into an impactful position supporting students as a Physical Therapist for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time, in-person opportunity runs from ASAP through June 2027 and provides the chance to work across a dynamic K-12 caseload. You’ll collaborate with a committed staff and contribute to positive outcomes for students of all ages.

As the sole district-wide physical therapist, you’ll deliver essential services to children with varying needs, making a direct difference in their educational access and physical development.

Your background:

• Valid PT licensure for Connecticut (or eligibility)
• Previous school-based experience highly preferred
• Ability to effectively manage a K-12 caseload
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Flexibility and teamwork-focused mindset
• Comfortable providing therapy onsite; remote work is not available

What you'll do:

• Assess students and develop individualized physical therapy plans
• Provide direct therapy services in accordance with IEP goals
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress
• Document progress and maintain detailed service records
• Attend meetings related to student services and IEPs
• Educate staff on strategies to support students’ physical needs in the classroom
