Position Travel Nurse RN Med Surg – Saint Louis, Missouri Job Details Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 08/03/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours per week: 48 hours (option to sign for 36 or 48 hours) Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Pay grade: 3354941 Required certifications: BCLS, ACLS, Relias EKG exam On‑call: No Qualifications Minimum 5 years experience in Med Surg Experience in Trauma (1:4‑6 ratios) and 48‑hour/36‑hour schedule Weekend rotation: every other week Certifications: BCLS, ACLS Proficient in blood product administration, peripheral line care, phlebotomy, insulin, PCA, spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic trauma, peripheral nerve block catheters, surgical drains, chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank, isolation precautions, wound care, wound vac, level 1 trauma experience Experience in ICU, ED, OR, or geriatric trauma settings Ability to pass Relias EKG exam and interpret/manage dysrhythmias Responsibilities Provide nursing care in Med Surg units for acute and chronic conditions Manage blood product administration and peripheral lines Assist with spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injury, orthopedic trauma, and total joint replacements Perform wound care, wound vac insertion, and surgical drains Administer respiratory support: CPAP/BiPAP, HFNC, nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, portable oxygen tank Maintain isolation precautions and monitor patient diagnoses from ED, OR, ICU, or geriatric trauma settings Participate in daily patient rounds, handoffs, and interdisciplinary team meetings Communicate patient status to physicians and families Benefits Referral bonus available. #J-18808-Ljbffr
