Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a diverse range of clinical laboratory tests including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, adhering to established protocols.
• Carefully evaluate test results for precision, troubleshoot any issues, and maintain instruments through timely upkeep and calibration.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and prepare samples appropriately for analysis.
• Thoroughly document all laboratory procedures, provide training to new staff and students, and ensure compliance with lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and orderly work environment by strictly following regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related allied health field, along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Maintain an active certification throughout your employment.
