Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Join a travel Physical Therapist opportunity in Kyle, TX where you will help patients recover from injuries and manage chronic conditions while experiencing life in the Greater Austin area. This role serves an inpatient rehab hospital and involves treating a diverse caseload including neuro, ortho, and general deconditioning. Provide approximately 6.5-7 hours of patient care per day.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active Texas Physical Therapist license required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience in inpatient rehabilitation with exposure to neuro (stroke, Parkinson's) and orthopedic populations is preferred; candidates without inpatient experience may be considered but inpatient experience is preferred.
• Documentation experience with WellSky preferred.
• Must be able to provide an updated resume for submission.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience treating stroke and Parkinson's patients in an inpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records in acute or inpatient rehab environments.

Assignment Details

• Coverage ideally includes Tuesday through Saturday.
• Approximately 6.5-7 hours of direct patient care per day.
