Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a MICU night shift position in Tuscaloosa, AL, requiring a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an ICU setting.

Details

• Medical ICU (MICU) setting within an acute care hospital
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active AL or Compact RN license required — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• No hits (past or current) on nursing license allowed
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent ICU experience
• Current driver's license required
• Two professional references from within the last year required for consideration
• Full SSN (US only) required for consideration

Additional Information

• Meditech EMR is in use; prior experience is not required
• All ICU RNs must complete an on-site competency test in addition to an online pre-test prior to starting
• No HealthStream modules required prior to start — competency-based modules will be completed during virtual orientation

• Timekeeping is managed through Centricity
