The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. This role will support key accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, month-end close activities, job cost analysis, and project financial management. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment administration, and vendor communications. Maintain strong vendor relationships and oversee vendor account setup, verification, and issue resolution. Manage accounts receivable functions, including customer account maintenance, invoicing support, collections follow-up, and payment application. Partner closely with Project Managers to review project financial performance, monitor job costs, and ensure accurate project accounting. Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules. Conduct job cost analysis and project profitability reporting to support operational decision-making. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards. Assist with cash flow monitoring and financial reporting activities. Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and schedules. Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency within accounting operations. Collaborate with the accounting and operations teams to provide timely and accurate financial information. ACCOUNTABILITIES Timely financial reporting Accuracy in journal entries and reporting QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred. 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction or project-based industries. Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, account reconciliations, and journal entries. Strong understanding of job costing and project accounting concepts. Experience working directly with project managers and operational teams. Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP software such as QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar systems. Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
