Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with policies and procedures of the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patients' conditions, reporting changes to the medical team.
• Administer medications, treatments, and IVs promptly and accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to plan, coordinate, and evaluate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about medical conditions and treatment plans.
• Float to other UCSF facilities as required to provide patient care support.

Qualifications

• Current California RN License.
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification for burn care.
• Minimum of 2 years RN experience with 1 year of experience in Critical Care.
• EPIC charting system experience required.
• Travel nursing experience within the last 12 months preferred.
