Human Resources Generalist

firstPRO360 is seeking an HR Generalist with experience in processing payroll, as well as managing benefits. The ideal candidate will also have exposure to the manufacturing industry. Location: Norcross, GA (onsite Mon-Thurs; remote Fri) Human Resources Generalist Our client is seeking a hands-on Human Resources Generalist to manage day-to-day HR operations and support employees throughout the employee lifecycle. This is a broad role for someone who is highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently. Responsibilities Administer payroll, benefits, leave, and employee data through Paylocity or a similar HRIS. Manage new-hire and contractor onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding. Maintain accurate personnel records and ensure HR documentation is organized and audit-ready. Support employee questions related to payroll, benefits, policies, and workplace matters. Conduct payroll reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and assist with month-end/year-end close. Support HR compliance, audits, reporting, performance reviews, and employee engagement initiatives. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, forms, and processes. Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and overall efficiency. Qualifications 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist, Coordinator, or People Operations role. Experience with payroll, onboarding, HR compliance, employee records, and benefits. Basic accounting experience, including journal entries and account reconciliations, required. Paylocity or similar HRIS experience strongly preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities independently. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle confidential information. Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred.
