HR Assistant, Recruiter

BI-LINGUAL SPANISH / ENGLISH REQUIRED

Human Resources/Recruiter. We are a growing Dog Treat manufacturer and E-commerce company located in Norcross with an immediate need for a Human Resources/Recruiter. Essential Functions Recruit for manufacturing, warehouse, and office employees. Onboarding and offboarding. Assist with developing programs, policies and practices to maintain the company’s compliance with all federal, state and local employment-related regulatory requirements including GMP, OSHA, FDA, Licensing, etc. Responsible for HR employment compliance processes including, but not limited to, administration of I-9, monitoring background check process, employment verification, and unemployment claims. Responsible for keeping applicable files both paper and electronic. Responsible for processing workers compensation claims and assisting with safety policies. Responsible for employee relations. Responsible for processing payroll. Qualifications & Experience 3-5 years related work experience and/or education. Strong recruiting skills Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: BI-LINGUAL SPANISH / ENGLISH REQUIRED Working knowledge of employment laws including, but not limited to the DOL, FLSA, ADA, and EEOC Working knowledge of regulatory agency standards including but not limited to FDA, OSHA, GMP, Licensing Requirements, etc. Broad knowledge of HR as it relates to leave management and attendance, hiring and recruitment, discipline, labor relations and compliance Ability to organize, prioritizes daily work, and maintains strict confidentiality Working knowledge of HRIS systems, ATS systems, MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
