Human Resources (HR) Generalist

Robert Half is looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support core people operations for a growing organization in Georgia. This contract opportunity has the potential to become permanent and is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing employee support, compliance, payroll coordination, and process improvement in a fast-moving environment. The person in this role will help maintain efficient HR operations while providing reliable guidance across the employee lifecycle.Responsibilities:• Oversee daily HR administration, including employee records, benefits coordination, onboarding activities, and personnel updates.• Process payroll with accuracy, complete reconciliations, prepare related journal entries, and assist with period-end close tasks.• Guide new team members and departing employees through onboarding and offboarding steps while ensuring required documentation is completed and retained properly.• Provide support for employee relations matters, leave administration, and interpretation of company policies and procedures.• Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation and contribute to internal and external compliance review activities.• Identify opportunities to strengthen HR workflows, refine policies, and expand self-service tools and resources for employees.• Assist with performance management efforts, reporting needs, employee training coordination, and engagement-related programs.
