The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:

The Line Cook is responsible for preparing and executing high-quality dishes in accordance with restaurant standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and adherence to food safety guidelines while working in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked workstation.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Ensure consistent portioning, plating, and presentation of dishes.
- Assist with prep work and ingredient stocking as needed.
- Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service.
- Handle and store ingredients properly to prevent waste.
- Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries.
- Communicate with team members and leadership to ensure efficient operations.
- Follow instructions from the Executive Chef and Sous Chef regarding food preparation and kitchen policies.
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- ServSafe certification or equivalent is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8+ hours per shift).
- Frequent lifting, pushing, or pulling of up to 50 lbs (e.g., food trays, boxes, equipment).
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach overhead.
- Repetitive hand and arm movements (e.g., chopping, stirring, plating).
- Exposure to heat, open flames, cold storage, and wet/slippery surfaces.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and ability to handle sharp objects safely.
- $20.00 - $28.84 per hour based on experience and qualifications
