Technical Support Analyst II

DescriptionThis role is located in our Santiam, OR Wood Products Manufacturing Facility, and is responsible for deployment, maintenance, and technical support of desktops, laptops, servers, client devices, switches, AP’s, printers, specialty equipment, digital signage, security, access control, cameras and other ancillary IT/OT systems. This role will work closely with business users, mill site staff, and IT / OT teammates, and will take part in the after-hours/on-call rotation.Typical Duties:Field incoming help requests from end users in a courteous and professional mannerRecord, track, and document the problem-solving process through to final resolutionIdentify and learn software and hardware used and supported by the organizationPerform hands-on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, hardware diagnostics, and configuring systems and applicationsFamiliarize end users with basic software, hardware, and peripheral device operationInstall, upgrade, and support desktops, laptops, servers, printers, switches, wireless AP’s, Internet Circuit’s, VoIP, CCTV, and other ancillary systemsAdhere to organizational asset, change, problem, and incident management processesTrack all IT / OT assets at assigned locationMaintains assigned servers (physical and/or virtual) and ensure all updates are applied in accordance with organizational guidelinesActively participate in IT / OT Team meetingsQualificationsDemonstrated safety focusAssociate’s degree in information technology or equivalent combination of education and/or experienceThree plus years’ experience in technical administration of PCs, Printers, Servers, with demonstrated broad-based technical abilitiesSkilled and experienced supporting desktops, laptops, servers, printers, switches, wireless AP’s, Internet Circuit’s, VoIP, VPN, general infrastructure etc.Problem-solving skills and the ability to learn new technologiesStrong oral and written communication skillsHighly Valued Skills:Experience supporting the IT infrastructure needs of a manufacturing facilityExperience supporting the OT infrastructure needs of a manufacturing facilityProcess Control Technician / EngineerMicrosoft, Google, CISCO, ITIL or similar CertificationsFour-year degree in information technology or related fieldAbout WeyerhaeuserWe sustainably manage forests and manufacture products that make the world a better place. We want you to choose us.What We Offer:Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $82,500-$123,800 based on your level of skills, qualifications and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 7% of base pay.
