About the Role
The Company is seeking an Academic Dean to provide strategic leadership, administration, and ensure the academic integrity of the campus. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing faculty, curriculum development, student success initiatives, and accreditation compliance. This role requires a confident leader with a Master's degree in an academic area or education, a preferred Doctorate degree, and a minimum of 8 years of leadership experience in education. The Academic Dean will also be involved in budget management, fostering external partnerships, and leading the campus in student retention efforts. Applicants for the Academic Dean position at the company should have a strong background in strategic planning, budget management, and a deep understanding of accreditation standards in higher education. The role demands a candidate with a proven track record in academic leadership, including at least 4 years of experience in teaching or an administrative role within a post-secondary institution. The ideal candidate will have prior experience as an Academic Dean and be adept at providing curriculum development, academic policies, and faculty development. A key aspect of the role is to ensure that academic programs meet all necessary requirements and to implement training programs for the professional development of faculty and staff. The Academic Dean will also be expected to manage the budget for the academic division and foster relationships with external partners to enhance the educational experience.
