Overview

Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morefollowing established protocols.

Analyze test results for accuracy, identify potential errors, and perform preventive maintenance on laboratory instruments.

Assist with specimen collection while preparing samples meticulously for testing as necessary.

Document all procedures in detail, provide training for new staff or students, and ensure laboratory quality standards are consistently maintained.

Uphold a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health degree, coupled with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year from your date of hire.

Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
