Emergency Department Nurse - Emergency Department

Schedule
- Shift: Nights; weekend coverage required (every other weekend)

Requirements
- 3 years experience preferred; 1st-time travel accepted
- Previous charge experience required
- Patient-ratio experience: 1:4
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Charting experience: Epic required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
- Additional certifications: CPI, TNCC as listed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care in the emergency department for patients of all ages, from neonates to geriatrics.
- Perform triage, assess patient conditions, and manage care for ventilated patients.
- Administer medications and IV therapies, including vasopressors and blood products.
- Monitor patients under procedural sedation and interpret dysrhythmias/ABGs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate patient care.
- Float to similar units as needed and participate in trauma and neuro-trauma care.

Compliance / Notes
- Pending NM/Compact license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
- Local radius: 50-mile radius; local applicants not accepted
- RTO (requested time off) must be listed at time of submittal; max 4 days RTO can be auto-approved
- Complete necessary labs within 48 business hours after contract signing
