Our agency opened in 2002 and is a close-knit team of five built on experience, consistency, and strong customer relationships. I came into agency ownership with prior experience in the insurance industry, which continues to shape how we serve our clients. I’m married with children and hold a college degree, and I value creating a stable, supportive environment both personally and professionally. We stay actively involved in the community as a member of the Thousand Oaks Westlake Chamber of Commerce and through local outreach efforts. For our team, we offer a 401(k), health benefits, and a strong focus on work-life balance. Our office culture is fun, productive, and team-oriented. Rick Hore - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member. Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
- Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
- Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
- Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
- Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
- Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
- Communication and interpersonal skills.
- Organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
