Methods include visual inspections, measurements, and functional testing of the product/process. An inspector must ensure the product/process meets specifications in terms of its appearance, function, and capability.Specific ResponsibilitiesPerform basic operation, calibration, and maintenance of test equipmentPerform SIP (Standard Inspection Procedure) auditsAudit manufacturing processesPrepare report summaries for management reviewEffectively communicate quality issues to the Operators, Team Leads and Set-upsAssist Quality Technicians in containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for assembly quality issues.Facilitate training for new employeesCreate, implement, and utilize basic statistical process control toolsPerform basic 5S tasks to maintain proper workplace organizationPerform containment activities and provide guidance to assembly, for performing containment of non-conformancesDetermine root cause and assist in the implementation of containment and corrective actions for existing and potential quality issuesGather and analyze data for new process equipment qualification, torque studies, capability studies, etc.Ensure applicable product compliance requirements are upheld including but not limited to the Clean Air Act, California Code of Regulation and California Health and Safety CodePerform all other duties as assigned by supervisionFrequent interaction with: Quality Inspectors, Quality Technicians, Engineers, and MaintenanceRequirementsHigh school diploma or GED equivalentMinimum three years of industrial manufacturing experienceMinimum one year of experience performing quality-related tasks (e.g., inspections, audits, quality control checks, corrective action support)Experience with Microsoft OfficeStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferencesSAP experienceTechnical knowledge of engine function and assembly operationsApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.The Hourly range for this position is $21.50-$24.75.The specific Hourly rate offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location.About UsRehlko proudly offers a rich history steeped in creativity and commitment to our associates and communities, along with competitive benefits and compensation.
