Susan Nunes WHAT DEPARTMENT IS THIS IN? 5420 Non Work Study, Music WHEN DOES THIS POSITION BEGIN (AND END, IF APPLICABLE? 2026-09-21 - JOB PURPOSE: The Music Department Photographer / Videographer captures and edits visual content for use in marketing and publicity of departmental events. This federal work study position is supervised by the Performance Events Coordinator. PREREQUISITES FOR ELIGIBILITY: Resume uploaded Cover letter uploaded Portfolio linked DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for visiting classes, ensemble rehearsals, and / or music performances to safely capture video and / or photography from a distance while not disrupting musicians Ability to assist with multi-camera livestream set-up and operations during performances Provides edited video and / or photography for use in department marketing materials in a timely manner Use captured content to create reels for social media Weekly meetings with the Performance Events Coordinator and/or marketing team to discuss current projects, upcoming tasks, and deadlines Candidate must have access to their own camera(s) and editing software, and be familiar with both Ability to provide portfolio and/or links to samples of previous work RESPONSIBILITY TOWARDS DIVERSITY: Ability to honor and work with all identities and individuals, particularly those who are underrepresented in the country and/or at Lewis & Clark College.
