Registered Nurse Cardiac/CVICU

Night shift; 36 hours/week, rotating holidays, weekdays, and some weekends.

Valid RN license

BLS and ACLS certifications

2 years of Cardiac ICU/CVICU experience preferred

Epic experience required

Experience with ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, IV and line management, titration of vasoactive/cardiac drips, and managing dysrhythmias

Experience with ECMO and CRRT noted

Provide direct patient care to adult patients in the cardiovascular and cardiac ICU settings.

Monitor and manage hemodynamic parameters and adjust patient care as necessary.

Administer medications and interventions per protocols and physician orders.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Educate patients and their families regarding care plans and post-operative recovery.

COVID-19 vaccine: Not required

Flu vaccine: Required (medical exemptions only)

Fingerprinting/credentialing: Required prior to start.

Weekend expectation: Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week period, with a minimum of 4 shifts required.
