Senior Clinical Research Associate - CNS/Rare Disease - West Coast - Remote

Senior Clinical Research Associate position supporting central nervous system and rare disease trials at a global CRO. The role involves managing site activities across all study phases, conducting site initiation visits, and ensuring regulatory compliance for remote and regional work on the West Coast.

Responsibilities

• Manage research activities at participating clinical trial sites
• Conduct study initiation visits and oversee site startup activities
• Train sites on data collection procedures and safety reporting protocols
• Ensure informed consent compliance and regulatory requirement adherence
• Support site selection, contract negotiation, and study closeout activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of clinical research associate experience
• Bachelor's degree or nursing degree required
• CNS/neurology experience required; psychiatry and rare disease preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
• Superior organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• West Coast residency required; willingness to travel regionally

Compensation: $97,000-$193,000 annually
