Senior Clinical Research Associate - CNS/Rare Disease - Midwest (Remote)

Senior Clinical Research Associate position supporting neuroscience and rare disease studies in a remote Midwest-based role. Manages site activities across all clinical trial phases, from initiation through closeout, with occasional regional travel required.
Responsibilities
- Manage research activities at clinical trial sites, including site selection and contracting
- Conduct study initiation visits and site training on data collection and safety reporting
- Support regulatory document collection and contract/budget negotiations with study sites
- Oversee site compliance with informed consent procedures and regulatory requirements
- Monitor ongoing site activities remotely and manage study closeout procedures
Requirements
- 5+ years experience as a Clinical Research Associate
- Bachelor's degree or nursing degree
- Demonstrated experience in rare disease and CNS therapeutic areas
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CTMS, and EDC systems
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
- Midwest residency required; willingness to travel regionally
Compensation: $97,000-$193,000 annually
