Quality Inspector

Quality Inspector (161539) Ontario, Canada LaSalle Network is partnering with an industry leader to hire a Quality Inspector for its Markham location. This Quality Inspector thrives in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment and will take ownership of onsite quality control processes, performing inspections, testing, and validation activities while working closely with plant leadership to ensure all incoming materials and products meet strict quality and specification standards. Responsibilities Perform incoming product inspections (no production onsite) to ensure compliance with specifications Conduct dimensional inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measurement tools Review and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and tolerances Perform material and product validation testing as required Document inspection findings and maintain accurate quality records and reports Collaborate with Plant Manager and Quality leadership to address issues and maintain standards Ensure consistent quality compliance for all incoming materials Support continuous improvement efforts within onsite quality processes Qualifications 2+ years of experience in quality inspection or quality control Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications Hands‑on experience with dimensional inspection and precision measuring tools Experience with material testing and product validation Comfort working independently as the sole QC representative onsite Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) Experience with steel, aluminum, plastics, or specialty materials preferred ISO 9000/9001 or OSHA experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment Benefits Opportunity to join a growing organization expanding its quality control footprint High‑autonomy role as the only QC representative onsite Exposure to incoming product inspection in a specialized manufacturing environment Stable Monday–Friday schedule with occasional overtime and growth potential Direct collaboration with plant leadership and technical teams Compensation: $50,000–$75,000 annually Benefits: Medical, Vision, and Dental insurance available Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM + occasional overtime Location: Near Markham Work Model: Fully onsite #J-18808-Ljbffr The LaSalle Network
