Director of Nursing (DON)

Salary Range: Salary Range: $135k-$175k per year

As Director of Nursing, You Will:

• Provide nursing and administrative direction for our entire nursing services team.
• Oversee the leadership and guidance of the nursing team in accordance with Federal, State, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
• Ensure appropriate utilization of resources necessary to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with other departments for a coordinated interdisciplinary approach.
• Coach, develop, and lead our clinical team to success.

Must Have:

• Previous experience as a Director of Nursing (DON) , Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) , or RN Manager .
• 3-5 years of experience in a nursing supervisory role, providing direct care to multiple residents, with Long Term Care (LTC) experience being ideal.
• Graduate of an approved RN program .
• Knowledgeable in nursing practices, procedures, terminology, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertinent to long-term care.

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing .
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Environment .
• Familiarity with PointClickCare .
• Advanced education in principles of management and geriatrics or DON certification .
• Leadership principles expertise.
