Assistant Project Manager - Commercial

The Assistant Project Manager works directly with Project Managers to help implement project goals by monitoring project progress, following up with stakeholders on the completion or delay of project phases, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. This role takes on Project Manager-level responsibilities with oversight and guidance from more senior project management staff.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Provide critical support in managing project activities and coordinating tasks.
• Assist in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of land development, ensuring tasks stay on track and milestones are achieved.
• Contribute to the development of project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
• Collaborate with other FORM team members to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
• Support the monitoring of project budgets, expenses, and financial resources.
• Communicate with stakeholders and executives to provide updates on project progress and address concerns.
• Identify potential risks and issues and work with Project Managers to develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in land development to enhance personal and team capabilities.
• Assist in the project entitlement process.
• Complete administrative duties including preparation of contracts, meeting with contractors and consultants, attending job meetings, and preparing meeting minutes.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities

• 1-2 years of experience in construction/development administration or a related field.
• High school diploma required.
• Strong computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Impressive communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. xhyhwjd
