*Crosses to real job IDs 3245796, 3258529 STC PACU - RN *Strong ICU/PACU experience hard stop Weekend, Holiday, On Call required Start Date: 04/27/2026 Contract length: 12 weeks Shift/Hours: Alternating; 3, 12Hr 07:00 - 19:00; 3, 12Hr 19:30 - 07:30; manager will consider/accept straight nights (screen straight nights to manager) License/certs: MD STATE LIC, ACLS, BLS #beds: 12 Ratio: 1:2 Patient Age Range: Adults, Geriatrics Special Procedures/Unit Details: The Shock Trauma PACU is a 12-bay unit with a 24/7 team, providing peri-anesthesia care specializing in traumatic injury management 365 days a year. Vigilant pre and post-operative care is provided to outpatients and inpatients undergoing scheduled or emergency surgery by more than 20 surgical and procedural services. This unique team also supports the mission of the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center through their clinical flexibility outside of traditional peri-anesthesia care, including procedural space and patient overflow from the Trauma Resuscitation Unit. Not your typical PACU. Nurses must be competent in titration of vasopressors, airway management, care of ventilated patients, blood product administration and fluid resuscitation. Holidays: required as they fall, as scheduled Weekends: 3 Weekend shifts/4 weeks Floating: required within the specialty, other units and sister SRH facilities within scope On-call: 7a-7:30p; 7p-7:30a; 1-2 twelve hour call shifts/6 week schedule required
