Lead Financial Analyst; Canada BU

The Lead Financial Analyst serves as a strategic financial advisor and business partner to the Canadian business unit, with clear accountability for influencing operating and strategic decisions, providing data-driven insights that support performance and alignment with company strategic objectives. The role translates enterprise and functional strategy into actionable financial insights, scenarios, and recommendations across strategic planning, annual operating planning, pricing, product flow, and key business analyses. This position collaborates cross-functionally with global and local marketing, market access, product development, sales, operations, legal, and finance teams to ensure alignment on financial assumptions, prioritization, trade-offs, and outcomes that drive business results.

Responsibilities include serving as a trusted financial advisor to business unit leadership, leading monthly financial and business review discussions, developing, monitoring, and interpreting KPIs, anticipating market dynamics, leveraging emerging technologies, leading monthly close and management review processes, conducting complex financial analysis, designing financial reporting processes, analyzing expense trends, preparing and interpreting monthly P&L results, leading annual operating plan, forecast, and projection processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, delivering ad-hoc analysis, identifying and implementing process improvements, leading and supporting financial workstreams, partnering with accounting teams, communicating effectively, collaborating across departments, maintaining and analyzing data, preparing reports and dashboards, managing multiple priorities, demonstrating initiative, serving as a point of contact, maintaining secure handling of sensitive information, and traveling frequently.

Education & Work Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree with 8-12 years of related experience, CPA or Master's degree in Finance preferred, experience in the medical device industry preferred, deep expertise with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Power BI, Power Query, and other advanced analytics tools, experience with SAP and BPC, and technical expertise in Power BI.
