Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Coding Manager

Leading a team of over 10 coders, the full-time remote Arizona Licensed Behavioral Health Coding Manager will oversee coding operations, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and support performance improvement initiatives within the Behavioral Health service lines. Key responsibilities: Manage and develop coding staff through training, performance evaluations, and workflow direction Assist in achieving budgetary goals by monitoring coding accuracy and unbilled accounts receivable Collaborate with leadership to establish coding quality standards and implement best practices Required qualifications: 5 years of recent experience in Behavioral Health coding Current certification through AAPC or AHIMA, with a leadership-level certification required Degree in Health Information or a related field with relevant coursework Strong knowledge of coding practices and applications in a healthcare setting Previous leadership experience preferred
