Market Specialist Independent & Control

Summary The Market Specialist provides reporting, administrative, and coordination support to the Commercial Sales team, delivering market performance analysis and ensuring accurate budget and expense management. This hybrid role is based in the New York office (3 days per week) and supports market activities, reporting, and reconciliation. The role handles purchase orders, POS ordering, invoice coding, and T&E tracking to support regional sales operations. Responsibilities Develop and monitor monthly brand and market performance reports with analysis of issues and opportunities. Support General Managers and market teams with ad hoc reporting and data consolidation. Manage purchase order creation and processing and coordinate POS ordering with distributors. Assist with invoice coding, reconciliation of spend versus budget, and tracking open invoices. Manage Travel & Entertainment expense tracking, reporting, and reconciliation per policy. Coordinate meetings, logistics, travel arrangements, and cross-functional follow-up for market activities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or relevant industry experience. Well-developed finance and budget management skills, including invoice coding and reconciliation. Comfortable working with large data sets and internal database systems. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
