The Environmental Specialist will be responsible for monitoring environmental programs, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, conducting inspections, and assisting with environmental reporting and training.**Essential Duties and Responsibilities*** Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company policies.* Conduct environmental inspections, audits, and assessments at company facilities and job sites.* Maintain records and documentation related to environmental permits, reports, and compliance activities.* Assist with hazardous waste management, spill prevention, and pollution control programs.* Monitor air, water, and soil compliance requirements as applicable.* Investigate environmental incidents and recommend corrective actions.* Coordinate with regulatory agencies during inspections and reporting processes.* Develop and deliver environmental training programs for employees.* Support sustainability and environmental improvement initiatives.* Prepare environmental reports and maintain accurate compliance data.* Stay current on environmental laws, regulations, and industry best practices.## Qualifications**Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field preferred.* Minimum of 2 years of environmental compliance or related experience preferred.* Knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and state environmental regulations.* Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.* Proficient in Microsoft Office and environmental reporting systems.* Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.**Physical Requirements*** Ability to work in office and field environments.* Ability to walk job sites and conduct inspections in varying weather conditions.* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. #J-18808-Ljbffr Ritchey Metals Company, Inc.
