This contract role offers a full-time schedule, working alongside a devoted team that includes two paraprofessionals and a Registered Behavior Technician. Desired Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education GaPSC Certification (serving up to 8th grade content preferred)
• Adapted Curriculum Endorsement, or eligible for endorsement (pending credentialed applicants considered)
• Experience teaching students in self-contained or functional curriculum settings strongly preferred
• Ability to collaborate with paraprofessionals, RBTs, and related service providers
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, positive learning atmosphere

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans for high school students following adapted curriculum guidelines
• Deliver engaging lessons and manage classroom activities with support from paraprofessionals and the RBT
• Collect data on student progress and adapt strategies as needed to drive student growth
• Partner with families and school staff in maintaining clear, consistent communication
• Create an environment that values diversity, student empowerment, and personal development
