Office Assistant

Valley Counseling & Consulting LLC is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and organized Office Assistant to join our growing mental health practice. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping others, thrives in a welcoming office environment, and takes pride in keeping our office running smoothly. As the first point of contact for many of our clients, this position plays an important role in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional experience from the moment someone walks through our doors or calls our office. Position Details Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. (1-hour unpaid lunch) Hours: 30 hours per week Pay: $15.00 per hour Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and compassion Schedule client appointments and assist with calendar management Welcome and greet clients in a friendly, supportive manner Maintain client files and complete filing and paperwork Send and receive online faxes Assist with administrative tasks to support clinicians and office operations Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting office environment Perform light office cleaning and organization Care for our friendly office cat, including feeding, providing fresh water, and cleaning the litter box Qualifications Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently Comfortable using computers and learning office software Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism Compassionate and respectful toward individuals seeking mental health services Comfortable working around and caring for a friendly office cat Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a medical, counseling, or professional office Experience with scheduling, customer service, or administrative support About Our Practice At Valley Counseling & Consulting LLC, we believe every client deserves to be welcomed with kindness, respect, and compassion.
